It is worth mentioning that the glass slide is not the only attraction at this hotel in Real del Catorce. The location of the place allows for masterful views of the Altiplano Mountains.
To enjoy the scenery, there are also three viewpoints. One represents the Hands of San Francisco; you can stand on the palm of your hand and feel like you are on top of the mountains. The other viewpoint is made of glass, including the floor, so you’ll have a 360° view.
Among the favorites is the stairway to heaven, an installation that culminates in a transparent and suspended viewpoint. There’s also a zip line and even an extreme swing, where you swing in the direction of the mountains!

More about Real del Catorce
This place was named Pueblo Magico in 2001, thanks to its rich culture and history. It is located in the Catorce mountain range of the Altiplano, a desert area. The place is mainly known for its mining culture.
Among its main attractions is the Ogarrio Tunnel, a subway stone construction. During the 19th century it was used to enter the mines and extract minerals. Today it is the access to the community of Real del Catorce.
