And you read that right! The Goku Race in Mexico City is already one of the most anticipated events for anime and recreational running fans.
Its official name is Corriendo por las 7 Esferas – Fan Race CDMX, but for many fans it is easily identified as the race inspired by the Dragon Ball universe, designed to be enjoyed more as an experience for young and old alike than as a competition.
This event is not just about running, but about experiencing an authentic fandom celebration, ideal for families, groups of friends, and anime lovers looking for something different to do in the city.
Distances, children’s race, and family atmosphere
The Goku Race in Mexico City will feature 3K and 8K routes for the general category. The short distance is perfect for those who want to run at a relaxed pace or accompanied by children, while the 8K offers an accessible challenge for runners with a little more experience.
In addition, the event will have a children’s category, so that the little ones can also join in the adventure and feel part of this themed party. The exact route has not yet been revealed, but the focus will be entirely family-oriented and safe.
Themed party, prices, and runner’s kit
Beyond the race itself, the Goku Race in Mexico City will serve as a meeting point for the anime, comic book, and superhero community.
There will be brands, stores, artists, and entrepreneurs with products, exhibitions, and experiences designed for the fandom.
The race will take place on April 19, 2026, and the prices are:
- Until January 31: $400 with a 5% discount = $380
- January: $500
- February: $580
- March: $650
The runner’s kit includes a T-shirt featuring the character of your choice, a matching buff, a medal, a runner’s number, and a backpack, making it a collectible souvenir.
Kits will be delivered on April 17 and 18, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Dragon Bar Super – Término Medio. Registration is now open.
