This evening will conclude the third World Meeting on Human Fraternity. This summit, which takes place in Rome over two days, features international leaders, Nobel laureates and activists addressing global challenges and the importance of unity. The closing will take place at the Vatican and will be marked by music.
Karol G brings Latin sounds to the Holy See
Among the most striking aspects of the concert is the presence of Karol G, who will make history by being the first Latin American artist to sing in front of the Pope. According to sources close to the organization, she could share the stage with Andrea Bocelli in Vivo por ella and add her song Milagros, as a gesture that mixes the strength of the urban with the spiritual solemnity of the place.
Pharrell Williams described the occasion as “a very rare cultural moment when the world stops and connects collectively”. Andrea Bocelli, for his part, summed up the spirit of the concert with these words: “Let us shine with music from the heart of Christianity to send the world a message of peace”.
Yet, behind the musical and drone show there is a deeper purpose. The World Meeting on Human Fraternity poses a reflection on what it means to be people in a time crossed by conflicts, loneliness, poverty, environmental crises and technological challenges. During this event, the invitation is to dialogue, to exchange experiences and to search for hope, in a space open to all.
