Three days to discover illustrations, take art home with you, and even get a tattoo! Gran Salón México 2026 returns to Mexico City for its thirteenth edition, which will bring together more than 20 Mexican illustrators, international guests, and activities for those who enjoy drawing and creativity.
The event will take place November 6–8 at LAGUNA, a venue located in the Doctores neighborhood. Best of all, admission is completely free, so you can explore the fair and discover different approaches to contemporary illustration without paying a single peso for entry.
In addition to original illustrations, you’ll find books, fanzines, textiles, ceramics, and various objects created by artists. There will also be an opportunity to purchase works in person or through the fair’s digital platform, with domestic and international shipping available.
There will be illustrations from China and Brazil, as well as flash tattoos!

One of the new features of Gran Salón México 2026 will be its collaboration with the Shenzhen Illustration Association, which will present a selection of award-winning works from the 10th China Illustration Biennial.
Brazil will also be represented by Aborda, an illustration platform based in São Paulo, which will showcase works by artists connected to its community.
Mexican participants include Amanda Mijangos, Armando Fonseca, Harumi Tanimoto, Israpop, Iván Mayorquín, Jimena Estíbaliz, and Naandeyé García Villegas, among others.
Do you like tattoos? Illustrator María Conejo will be offering flash tattoos with exclusive designs that you can purchase and have applied during the fair.
Club Offline: a space to draw and disconnect from screens

Another new feature will be Club Offline x GSM, a table open all three days for drawing, working, chatting, and meeting people who share your creative interests.
There will also be activities featuring collectives such as Grupo de Autoayuda de Dibujo, Piso 16, and Written.
The program will include workshops, talks, portfolio reviews, and professional networking sessions. These educational activities will require advance registration on the official Gran Salón México website; availability will be announced soon.
If you’re looking for free cultural activities in November, this fair is a great opportunity to get a closer look at contemporary illustration, meet the artists behind it, and explore new artistic expressions.
