What other films is he up against? In the Best Screenplay category, he is competing alongside Bugonia, Hamnet, One Battle After Another, and Train Dreams.
Meanwhile, the films also competing for Best Picture are Bugonia, F1, Hamnet, Marty Supreme, One Battle After Another, The Secret Agent, Sentimental Value, Sinners, and Train Dreams.
In addition to Guillermo del Toro, Jacob Elordi is nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor.
