If you’re looking for something different to do in Mexico City this summer, mark your calendars: an art book fair is coming to LagoAlgo, bringing together the best of the international independent publishing scene .
This is the Hardcore Art Book Fair 2026, an initiative by the creative studio Can Can Press in collaboration with LagoAlgo, which for four days will transform this space into a meeting place for creatives, publishers, designers, and lovers of print art.
More than just a fair, it is an experience where each publication—from a fanzine to an art book—serves as a piece that seeks to connect, provoke, and even transform its surroundings.
Fanzines, art books, and unconventional publications

You won’t find the usual here. At the Hardcore Art Book Fair, there will be a selection of publishing projects ranging from emerging to established, with proposals that push the boundaries of print.
You’ll discover fanzines, art books, magazines, archives, CDs, cassettes, vinyl records, as well as works of illustration, typography, and photography. The best part is that you’ll often be able to chat directly with the people behind each project, making the experience much more intimate.
It’s the perfect plan to get inspired, collect unique pieces, or simply let yourself be surprised by what’s happening in today’s creative scene.
A fair in one of Chapultepec’s coolest cultural spots

The venue also plays a key role. Located in the heart of Chapultepec Forest, LagoAlgo has established itself as one of the city’s most interesting cultural spaces, thanks to its blend of contemporary art, architecture, and nature.
Its atmosphere makes it the ideal setting for a fair like this, where visual exploration and the exchange of ideas take center stage.
