Everything you need to know about the special high-temperature advisory in Mexico City
The high temperatures will continue throughout the weekend; however, on Sunday, April 19, they will drop slightly and the rain will return.
According to the National Weather Service forecast, there will be no rain in Mexico City from April 16 to 18; however, showers with heavy rain are expected on Sunday in both Mexico City and the State of Mexico.
These rains will be caused by the interaction of a cold front with a low-pressure trough. Additionally, its polar air mass will cause a drop in temperature in the central, eastern, northern, and northeastern parts of our country.
Remember that the cold front season runs from September to May each year. Even though it’s already spring, it’s normal for these types of weather systems to continue occurring.
