May is Museum Month, and to celebrate, the 2026 Historic Center Museum Fair is coming. This year, it will be held at the Monument to the Revolution. We already know all about it!
At a press conference, it was announced that the event will mark its fourth edition and bring together more than 50 public and private venues with the goal of highlighting the immense cultural and heritage diversity of this area of Mexico City.

Venue and date of the 2026 Historic Center Museum Fair
At this fair, you’ll learn more about the venues in the Historic Center through various activities. More than 50 themed workshops on art, history, science, and inclusion will be offered.
The event is on Sunday, May 17, at the Monument to the Revolution. You can attend the event from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
In addition to workshops, you’ll find artistic and cultural performances. For example, there will be monologues, puppet shows, and exhibitions. Make the most of the weekend and learn more about these museums.
Remember that International Museum Day is celebrated on May 18 every year. Join the celebration and visit this fair. Admission is free.
