Everything is more than ready for the tribute to Rockdrigo Gonzalez in Mexico City. Next Saturday, September 13, a very special event will be held to remember one of the most representative figures of Mexican rock.
The event, called Homenaje Urbano Rupestre a Rockdrigo González, will feature the participation of the group Heavy Nopal, as well as artists Fausto Arrellín, Carlos Arellano, Rafael Catana, Jorge García Montemayor and Nina Galindo, according to information from the Mexico City Ministry of Culture.
Where will the tribute to Rockdrigo González be held?

This concert will be held at the Teatro de la Ciudad Esperanza Iris, located at Donceles 36, Centro Histórico de la CDMX. It is a few steps from the Allende subway station.
At 8:00 p.m. on September 13, a concert will begin with a performance of Rockdrigo’s greatest hits. In fact, an orchestra will accompany several songs such as “No tengo tiempo de cambiar mi vida”, “Estación del Metro Balderas”, “Distante instante” and “Máquina del tiempo”, among others.
Friends and colleagues of Rockdrigo who call themselves Los Rupestres explained that they have been doing this tribute for a long time and now it will come for the first time to the Teatro de la Ciudad Esperanza Iris.
Tickets range from $150 to $500 per person, depending on the venue you choose. You can buy your ticket online or directly at the venue’s box office.
Rockdrigo González was a Mexican musician and singer who left a great musical legacy. He was born in Tamaulipas in 1950 and died in Mexico City in the 1985 earthquake.
