Are you thinking of adding a new four-legged, wet-nosed member to your family? Adopting a puppy rescued from the CDMX subway could be the ideal option.
It is a beautiful, free and very simple opportunity, because in addition to giving a home to a dog that needs it, you will fill your life with love and gratitude, we tell you about it!
How can you adopt a tenderloin from the CDMX Metro?
First, you must go to the official website of Metro CDMX where you will find the list of available lomitos. There you will see their age, sex, size and even in which station they were rescued. Once you choose the ideal puppy, download and fill out the Canine Adoption Form.
Then, you must go to the Centro de Transferencia Canina (CTC), located at Avenida de las Culturas s/n, colonia El Rosario, Alcaldía Azcapotzalco, in front of the Metrobus station Colegio de Bachilleres 1 (Line 6).
The opening hours are from Monday to Sunday, from 10:00 to 17:00 hours. It is very important that you bring with you:
-
Copy of your INE or other official document
-
Proof of recent address (maximum 3 months)
Once the documents are submitted, a visit to your home will be scheduled to verify that the lomito will live in a safe and loving environment. If everything is in order, the delivery will be scheduled!
The best part? Your new furry companion will be delivered bathed, dewormed and sterilized, thanks to the care of the CTC. The entire process is 100% free of charge.
And if you have any more questions about adopting a puppy from the CDMX Metro, you can write to ctc@metro.cdmx.gob.mx.
Don’t buy, adopt! For a rescued lomito, a home means a second chance.
