Huasteca Poblana is coming to the National Museum of Popular Cultures this weekend! You will spend a day full of traditional dances and music. The best part is that admission is free.
According to the precinct, in this event you will learn more about the cultural richness of the Huasteca. Between 11:00 and 19:00 hours there will be all kinds of activities. The appointment is at the National Museum of Popular Cultures (Av. Hidalgo 289, Del Carmen, Coyoacán).

As we mentioned above, the event will be held on Saturday, October 25. There will be various activities throughout the day. The program will start at 11:00 o’clock with the presentation of the traditional dance of “Negritos”, from Naupan, Puebla.
Afterwards there will be a lecture and exhibition with Raymundo Fraga Valle. Of course there will be music. The Trio Huasteco Xocotepecali and Trio Ilusión de la Sierra will perform, just to mention a few.
It is worth mentioning that throughout the event there will be an exhibition and sale of handicrafts from this area of Puebla. You will find authentic treasures. We recommend you to go with time so you can see everything that will be there. Here is the complete program:
It is important to note that, in order to help those affected by the floods in the Huasteca, there will be a collection center. If you want to help, you can bring bottled water, non-perishable food, personal hygiene items, cleaning products and medical supplies such as gauze, bandages, alcohol and serums.
