You and your wallet won’t melt! The Historic Center of Mexico City welcomes a Chinese chain that offers ice cream for $8 and boba teas for $30. If the city heat has already gotten to you, you’ll definitely want to visit this place as soon as possible.
Located on Monte de Piedad Street, Mixue is a new place that offers creamy ice cream and refreshing drinks at very good prices.
The brand was founded in Zhengzhou, China, in 1997 and has now established itself as a hugely popular chain in various countries. In 2026, it arrived in Mexico City with its first branch in the heart of the capital.
Its concept is soft serve, teas, and other beverages. On the menu, you’ll find oolong, milk tea, black tea, lemonade, and sundaes, as well as coffee drinks: none of the options exceed $45!
The craze for buying soft ice cream for less than $10 has caused lines of up to an hour. We recommend visiting Mixue with time, patience, and a lot of enthusiasm to try some of its refreshing creations.
In addition to the Historic Center, other Mixue branches in Mexico City

Although only one branch has been opened so far, located at Monte de Piedad 15, the official Mixue Mexico website has confirmed that there will be more branches: one on Av. El Rosario, in the Azcapotzalco district, and another on Madero Street, in the city center.
In addition, there will be one in Ciudad Azteca and another in Plaza Chalco Modatela, in the State of Mexico.
It seems that the excitement surrounding $8 ice cream will not only remain in the Historic Center, but will spread to other locations in and around Mexico City. Hurry up and find out what it’s all about!
