This show is a production by Alebríjula. It is a Bunraku theater performance, a Japanese puppet show in which you can see the artists manipulating the characters on stage.
It’s worth mentioning that the stage is filled with lights, which you can see in full effect by wearing special glasses provided at the venue. During Museum Night, there will be two performances: 6:15 PM and 7:30 PM. Each performance lasts about 45 minutes.
Each performance will have a capacity of 220 people. You can purchase your tickets directly at the museum starting at 5:00 p.m. on May 27. The cost is $170 per person. This is a special price valid only for Museum Night; the usual price for the show starts at $500.
According to Alebríjula, this show will be presented over several days at the Museum of Popular Art (Revillagigedo 11, corner of Independencia, Historic Center of Mexico City). So if you can’t make it to Museum Night, don’t worry—there will be more performances throughout the week. General admission to the show starts at $500 per person, and you can purchase tickets online.
