Do you want to know the secrets of Mexico City? Join INAH’s cultural tours. During February they will visit sites such as the Desierto de los Leones and the Historic Center of Mexico City.
Every month the National Institute of Anthropology and History (INAH) organizes cultural tours in which they take you to learn more about different spaces. Each tour is guided by an expert in gastronomy, history, art or archeology, who will explain historical details about the place you are visiting.
What sites will you visit in INAH’s cultural tours in February?
According to a press release, these are the cultural tours that will take place during February:
- February 7 – former Convent and Temple of the Incarnation.
- February 8 – Xicotepec Puebla: during the event you will enjoy a coffee tasting.
- February 9 – Centro Histórico de CDMX: historian Gerardo Dávalos Vázquez will lead this tour and tell you about the past of this area of the city.
- February 14 – Mexico City Historical Archives
- February 15th – Desierto de los Leones: you will discover everything about this emblematic and lonely place.
- February 16th – Museum of Anthropology: historian Jesús López del Río will explain all about the writing systems used many years ago.
- February 22nd – the tour will focus on the work of Ángel de Campo
- February 22 – Coyoacán: get ready for a pedestrian tour in which you will discover more about the kitchens and markets of Coyoacán’s Centro.

Registration by telephone can only be done from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday. These same channels will also inform you of the cost of the tours.
