You read that right and it’s official! Yes there will be an installation of Amores Perros at LagoAlgo and it will be one of the must-see experiences in the last part of 2025. Take out your agenda, we’ll tell you the details.
On October 5, 2025, your favorite contemporary art space in Chapultepec, LagoAlgo, will open its doors to one of the most anticipated exhibitions of the year: SUEÑO PERRO: Instalación Celuloide by Alejandro G. Iñárritu.
What awaits you at the Amores Perros installation at LagoAlgo?

It will be a multi-sensory experience that unites film and visual arts in a fully immersive format. The exhibition will be available until January 4, 2026 and, although it has not yet been officially confirmed, access is expected to be free by pre-registration.
SUEÑO PERRO is part of the celebrations for the 25th anniversary of Amores Perros (2000), the film that marked a milestone in Mexican cinema and was nominated for an Academy Award. In this installation, the Oscar-winning director rescues, reinterprets and transforms unpublished material discarded more than 25 years ago.
The work delves into the central themes of Amores Perros -love, betrayal and violence- but transposes them to the sensorial and artistic realm, inviting the visitor to go through the memories from a completely different perspective.
The Amores Perros LagoAlgo installation is a production of Fondazione Prada, with the generous support of Rolex and Grupo Habita. The venue, located in the heart of the CDMX, will thus become the stage for an experience that blends cinematographic memory, contemporary art and technology.
With unreleased visual fragments, enveloping atmospheres and transformed soundscapes, SUEÑO PERRO proposes an emotional journey to the origin of a key work of Latin American cinema. Iñárritu, true to his style, is committed to blurring the boundaries between the real and the symbolic.
We recommend you keep an eye on LagoAlgo’s social networks, as there will be open registrations to see this unmissable experience, and it will be announced whether it will be free of charge or will maintain the free admission characteristic of this contemporary art space.
