Get your best outfit ready because next Saturday, April 26, we will celebrate International Dance Day at the Centro Histórico. A massive choreography will be organized, as well as a party where you will dance until midnight. Write down the details.
It’s time to show off your best dance moves. 20 de Noviembre Street, on the corner of Zócalo, will host a big celebration for International Dance Day. Everyone is invited! The Ministry of Culture has made a call for those who attend to wear black or a Tongolele-inspired outfit.
This is how International Dance Day will be celebrated in the Historic Center.
During the event, the “Montuneando” son montuno will be danced. A rehearsal was organized on Wednesday, April 16, but if you couldn’t make it, don’t worry because the complete choreography is already on the internet so you can learn it and participate.
Everything will start at 4:00 p.m. on April 26. The choreography will be danced on 20 de Noviembre Street. It is worth mentioning that this will be a tribute to Tongolele and the dance clubs; in fact, different clubs will participate, as well as dance groups from Utopías, cultural centers and Faros.
Once the choreography is finished, the party will begin, where you will dance all afternoon and evening. It will end at 00:00 hours. Take advantage of the weekend and go dancing.
