About Las Manos del Mundo
Las Manos del Mundo is an international gathering of artisans, aimed at presenting and promoting the cultural richness of the world. This great initiative began in 2003 with the purpose of facing the problem of artisan commercialization.
Since its creation, Las Manos del Mundo has strengthened its commitment to artisans, to bring their talent directly to the public. In addition, it offers the opportunity to train, learn about different sales methods, as well as to design new products that meet current trends and demands.
Socorro Oropeza, Director of Las Manos del Mundo, indicated that this initiative comes from the National Union of Artisan Producers and has been consolidated as a meeting point for artisans to exhibit their valuable work in a dignified place.
“The profits collected in each of our editions are destined to the updating and training of artisans so that they can innovate and sell their pieces at national and international level, managing to be competitive and obtain the real commercial value of their work,” Oropeza explained.
In this way, Las Manos del Mundo will once again bring Mexican families together to celebrate artisans and recognize their work.
