If you’re a fan of anime, Japanese culture, or simply looking for something different to do in Mexico City, mark your calendar. The Harp Helú will be decked out for a party to celebrate Japan Day with a special event that combines music, dance, and baseball all in one afternoon.
The celebration is part of the 70th anniversary of the Mexico-Japan Association and will take place during the game between the Diablos Rojos del México and the Guerreros de Oaxaca, blending the sports atmosphere with performances inspired by Japanese culture.
The voice actors from Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball, and Saint Seiya will be in attendance
One of the most anticipated moments will be the tribute to anime songs in Latin American Spanish, performed by Marisa De Lille—known for her renditions of Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball themes—and Mauren Mendo, singer of iconic Saint Seiya songs.
In addition, the program will feature performances by Ginreikai Japanese Dance and RKMD Mexico, which will bring various expressions of Japanese culture to the stadium to enhance the experience before and during the game.
To attend the event, you must purchase a ticket for the game between the Diablos Rojos del México and the Guerreros de Oaxaca, either at the stadium box office or through the team’s official website.
