If you still don’t know what to get Mom for Mother’s Day, here’s a unique, relaxed, and very aesthetic plan. The Japanese Bazaar returns to Mexico City with a special edition to treat moms to food, shopping, workshops, and many experiences inspired by Japanese culture.
For two days, you can explore different booths featuring desserts, handmade jewelry, fashion, home decor, and Japanese food. But without a doubt, one of the most eye-catching activities will be the kokedama workshop, a traditional Japanese technique that involves growing plants inside a moss ball.
There will be a kokedama workshop with a sake cocktail included
The workshop is designed for those who want to give a unique experience or simply spend some creative time with Mom. Each participant will be able to create their own kokedama and take it home. (Kokedama workshop hours: 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM)
Additionally, the cost (Workshop fee: $450 per person) includes all necessary materials and a sake cocktail to accompany the experience. Note that space is limited, so it’s recommended to reserve your spot in advance via WhatsApp (55 2065 4856).
The event will also offer free admission for those who just want to visit the bazaar, although advance registration will be required for entry.
What you’ll find at the Japanese Bazaar
In addition to the workshop, you can explore different areas featuring themed products and independent offerings. There will be:

Honestly, it sounds like one of those relaxing weekend plans—spending time among plants, delicious food, and lovely shopping.
