
Get ready to listen to jazz at the Jardín Escénico de Chapultepec! Iraida Noriega and Trio Blanco Cupich will give a very special concert, as they will present Rios, a new musical material that includes both songs composed by the singer, as well as several songs, including “Serenata huasteca” and “La malagueña”, among others.
Ríos is a musical project that combines and draws inspiration from music from Mexico and Cuba. Save the date so you don’t miss this concert. Admission is free.
All about the jazz concert at Chapultepec’s Jardín Escénico
The concert called Ríos will feature pieces by different composers, including José Alfredo Jiménez, Iraida Noriega and Hernández Marín, to name a few. The songs will be performed by Iraida Noriega, who will be accompanied on stage by Roberto Blanco on piano, Israel Cupich on double bass and Tavo Nandayapa on drums.
The date is next Thursday, June 19 at 7:00 pm. Admission will be free, so try to arrive early to get a good place. You can stop by after work or school. Just remember that this is the rainy season, so make sure you are well prepared.
