This Wednesday, April 30 is International Jazz Day and the Jardín Escénico de Chapultepec will be celebrating in a big way with free concerts. There will be four performances starting on Friday, April 25, so you will have several opportunities to attend.
The Pabellón Escénico will vibrate to the rhythm of different bands and ensembles such as the Escuela Superior de Música del INBAL, Big Band Jazz Kidz, the Orquesta Nacional de Jazz, just to mention a few. There will be four presentations, two of them during the night. Now, here is the itinerary:
- Friday, April 25 – Mercado-Carl Cuarteto – 19:00.
- Saturday, April 26 – Big Band Jazz Kidz and Big Bang Studio of the National Jazz Orchestra – 13:00.
- Wednesday, April 30 – Ensembles of the Escuela Superior de Música del INBAL – 10:00 A 15:00 | Alex Mercado Trio – 20:00.

In addition to the jazz concerts at the Pabellón Escénico, there will be one more at the Centro Cultural del Bosque de Chapultepec. This will take place on Wednesday, April 30 at 6:30 pm. It will be a show by the Escuela Superior de Música, the Centro de Producción de Danza Contemporánea and the Compañía Juvenil de Danza Contemporánea. It is also free access.
