The ‘Prince of Song’ is still so alive in our memory that to continue honoring the mark left by one of Mexico’s most beloved artists, the José José José exhibition will open with a private collection that will include costumes, records, awards and more.
In this exhibition, each object will make us relive José José’ s era and remind us why “El triste”, “Gavilán o paloma” and “Lo pasado, pasado”continue to thrill and fill the country’s karaokes with melancholy.
Where and when will the José José José exhibition be in CDMX?
The exhibition “José José José: Private Collection” will be a journey through the life of one of the most beloved singers of our country’s music. It will be open to the public from September 20 to November 20 at the Casa de Cultura de Azcapotzalco (Av. Azcapotzalco 605).
On the tour you will see exclusive objects from the collection of the ‘Prince of Song’. From the iconic costumes he wore on stage to the musical instruments that made the magic possible in each of his songs. There will also be personal items, awards and records.
Each piece will recount important moments in José José’s professional and personal stages. With each one we will go back to a few years ago, when José José’s voice amazed all the radios.
If you want to be among the first to visit the José José exhibition, the official opening will be on Saturday, September 20th at 2:00 pm.
Almost six years after the anniversary of the death of the memorable Mexican singer and actor, this exhibition will pay tribute to his artistic career, which has been an icon in the memory of Mexicans.
So go tell your grandparents, parents and those friends who never miss singing the singer’s hits at parties because this exhibition is free and open to the public.
