Laguna’s program for Art Week 2026 has already been revealed, and we now know more about the exhibition that will set the tone for the entire program.
Reuse: Architectures of Almost Nothing is the project with which Laguna kicks off Art Week 2026, bringing to the table an urgent conversation: how to rethink architecture from the perspective of reuse, responsible use of resources, and minimal intervention.
The exhibition brings together 15 international firms that work with a clear logic: not to impose, but to activate what already exists.
Through reused materials, low-cost processes, and almost surgical precision, these practices propose new ways of building and inhabiting without resorting to the spectacular. Here, the small, the temporary, and the sensitive take center stage.
Among the participating studios are 322A, 51N4E, 8000.Agency, ANY, APRDELESP, b+, Bangkok Tokyo Architecture, Bessire Winter, Davidson Rafailidis, PARABASE, Pihlmann Architects, FAIL, salazarsequeromedina, Sam Chermayeff Office, and TodoEverything, all with approaches that engage with the social, urban, and material context.
Reuse: Architectures of Almost Nothing opens on February 4, 2026, in Laguna and is Laguna’s first major focus for Art Week 2026. The exhibition is co-curated by María Muñoz and Edgar Rodríguez, with graphic design by Emilio Pérez, and is presented as one of the key exhibitions of this artistic season in the city.
