Amargo Teatro ‘s first success in the field of theater for babies in the CDMX was “Beto no puede volar” (Beto can’t fly), based on the story by writer Jacobo Tafoya.
The staging was presented in 2024 in Mexico City and Colombia. It has also been distinguished with the Award of the Award Program for Stage Production Projects 2023, granted by the Ministry of Culture of the Government of Mexico.
Currently, Amargo Teatro is about to finish a new show for babies entitled “Caleidoscopio”. The story of this staging is about two sisters who, in their exploration of the world, find a kaleidoscope and discover the magic of the stars through it.
When does Kaleidoscope premiere? The staging is scheduled for April, with the aim of submitting it to festivals and competitions that continue to promote the Baby Theater in the CDMX and the country.
