Close this 2024 with a flourish and go to the Lele Doll Fair in CDMX. You will find dolls and countless other items. You will have a little more than two weeks to visit it. Write down all the details.
Ar Lëlë Hñöhñö is, without a doubt, one of the most emblematic dolls in Mexico. She is originally from Santiago de Mexquititlán, in Querétaro. You can easily recognize her by the crown of ribbons she wears.
It is worth mentioning that this doll is considered Cultural Heritage since 2018. It is usually made of different materials, such as silk, poplin, cambaya, yarn and ribbon, to name a few.
The Lele Doll Fair in CDMX is already here.
This event seeks to promote and show the multiculturalism of Mexico through this doll. You will find dolls of different colors and sizes, as well as items with her image, such as: notebooks, key chains, clothes, purses, pillowcases and much more. We are not exaggerating when we say that there will be everything.
In addition to many dolls, the fair will have various artistic and cultural activities, such as workshops and dance and music presentations.
The event will begin on December 20, 2024 and will conclude on January 7, 2025. Access to the fair is free of charge.
Best of all, the fair comes in the middle of Christmas, New Year and Three Kings Day festivities, so if you are looking for an original and traditional gift, don’t hesitate to visit this event at the Monumento a la Revolución (Plaza de la República S/N, colonia Tabacalera, alcaldía Cuauhtémoc).
