Are you afraid of the dark? If you are a fan of terror and mystery, this night tour in the Desierto de los Leones is for you. For more than two hours you will walk through the former convent while they tell you legends.
Everything will be in total darkness, the only thing you will be able to see will be the lights brought by the characters who will interpret several spooky stories. Do you dare to attend? Run away because there are new dates.
Leyendas Nocturnas is a show that has been taking place for more than 10 years at the ex convent of Desierto de los Leones. Last Friday August 16th they started a new season called “El regreso de las hermanas Ruíz Valdes” (The return of the Ruíz Valdes sisters), in which they will tell legends about different beings, including witches.
The show includes more than 30 actors on stage, pyrotechnics, lighting and audio effects throughout. The main feature of this event is that you are taken through the entire ex-convent in complete darkness.
Stops are made in specific spaces where different legends are recreated. During the event you can even enter the catacombs of the enclosure: a kind of tunnels where you can see absolutely nothing.

We recommend you to wear comfortable and warm clothes, because it is very cold there, besides we are in cold fronts season. You will be walking a lot, so don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes. This tour will last two and a half hours, during which you will be told legends and you will enjoy the facilities of the enclosure at night (believe us, it looks very different at night than during the day).
Basically you will know (and experience) how the ancient monks of this place lived. It is worth mentioning that there is no cell phone signal or public transportation, so take your precautions and try to go by car.
We already went, here we tell you more about the tour:
