This means that during May we begin to notice the first rains of the season; however, this year less rainfall is expected during this month, as reported by the Secretariat of Integral Risk Management and Civil Protection of Mexico City.

Said agency explained that between May 8 and 12 there will be rainfall in Mexico City; however, thereafter rainfall will decrease considerably.
“This year rainfall during May is expected to be lower than the climatological normal,” it was detailed through a special notice published in official accounts on Monday, May 5.
But don’t worry, because the National Meteorological Service (SMN) forecasts above-normal rainfall for June.
