2025 went by in a flash and the year is almost over. However, that doesn’t mean that the unmissable events in the CDMX are over. For example, in December the Enchanted Medieval Christmas will arrive to Desierto de los Leones.
For a whole day you will enjoy activities that will make you feel in medieval times. In each edition there are presentations of archery, falconry, games and medieval dances, among many other things. There is even a flea market where you can buy all kinds of items typical of the period.
When will be the Enchanted Medieval Christmas at Desierto de los Leones?
The Ex convent of Desierto de los Leones will be filled with Christmas magic. This 2025 the event will last one day. It will take place on Sunday, December 14 from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm.
You will also see epic battles and much more; there will even be a village with Christmas elves . The entrance fee is $200, while seniors and people with disabilities pay $150. In the case of children, you should know that kids under 10 years old get in for free.
To be in line with the theme of the event, they can dress up in costume, but it is not mandatory. But don’t forget to bring warm clothes and comfortable shoes, because in the Desierto de los Leones it’s usually cold at any time of the year, specially in autumn-winter.
Tickets are already on sale. You can get them through internet. Remember that the ex convent of Desierto de los Leones is located at México Toluca highway, La Venta, Cuajimalpa.
What other Christmas events will there be in CDMX?
Christmas is already in the air. In fact, there are already several events confirmed in CDMX. For example, on December 19 and 20 there will be a candlelight concert where you will enjoy Christmas songs such as “Jingle Bells”, “We wish you a Merry Christmas” and “Feliz Navidad”, among many others.
Also, on December 14, The Santa Run will be held at Parque la Mexicana. This is a fun run in which everyone participates dressed as Santa Claus.
