This Wednesday, July 30, the CDMX will experience a complicated day in terms of mobility, as a mega blockade is expected to affect at least 280 key points of the city due to a massive mobilization of merchants.
The event is scheduled for around 10:00 a.m. and is part of a protest promoted by the commercial sector, which seeks to make visible the economic effects suffered by thousands of legally built establishments.
The authorities of the CDMX have issued an alert for drivers and pedestrians, recommending that they avoid conflictive areas and opt for alternate routes. Although a special operation will be deployed by the Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana (SSC), it is expected that the closures will generate significant traffic chaos.
Areas affected by the mega blockade in CDMX

Among the areas where blockades are anticipated are:
- Azcapotzalco: Av. Camarones (Camarones traffic circle).
- Gustavo A. Madero: Constancia on the corner of Río Blanco.
- Coyoacán: Periférico (Azteca circuit).
- Tlalpan: Mártires Irlandeses, Paz Montes de Oca, Calzada de Tlalpan.
