The beginning of the year is the best time to do a deep cleaning and take out what you no longer use, but don’t throw it away! It’s better to take part in the UNAM’s Mega Recyclatron 2026.
You can bring electronic and electrical appliances: batteries, cell phones, tablets, cables, headphones, refrigerators, washing machines, coffee makers, speakers, dryers, irons, printers, laptops, fans, microwaves and even the cassettes that your grandpa doesn’t want anymore.
If you plan to bring batteries, it is important that they are in a clean, reused container.
There are some items that will not be accepted, such as: energy-saving light bulbs, public wiring, fluorescent lamps and modems. Also, no open or contaminated appliances.
The UNAM Mega Recyclatron is an ideal day to responsibly dispose of what you no longer need. There is no excuse to miss it, as it is free of charge.

The collection will take place on January 29 and 30, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Olympic University Stadium.
