It’s official:Mariana Treviño will return to the theater with Mentiras!
The talented actress will be back in her role as Lupita for a very short season in September in CDMX. You can also see her in Guadalajara and Mérida.
In case you didn’t know, Mariana had already played our favorite secretary in the theatrical version that inspired Prime’s hit series.
And yes, she had already triumphed by singing “Fíjate en tu secretaria” in the purest eighties style.
In fact, the actress was part of the original cast that starred in the show in 2009, along with Natalia Sosa, Mónica Huarte, Pía Aun and Andrés Zuno. She then gave life to Lupita for more than three years, until 2012.
It was the most important role until then in Mariana’s career, who was consolidated with the series Club de cuervos, on Netflix.
You’ve also seen her in the movie Cómo cortar a tu patán and alongside Hollywood luminaries, such as Tom Hanks(A Man Called Otto, 2022 movie) and Owen Wilson(Stick, 2025 series).
Dates and cost of tickets to see Mariana Treviño in theater with Mentiras
There will be only four performances for which Mariana Treviño will once again wear seven perfumes, painted nails and some cleavage, at the Teatro Aldama(📍 José Rosas Moreno 71, San Rafael, Cuauhtémoc).
The cheapest ticket is over a thousand pesos (plus service charges) and pre-sale has already begun.
These will be the performances with his participation:
- Thursday, September 25, 20:00.
- Friday, September 26, 20:00.
- Saturday, September 27, 17:00.
- Sunday, September 28, 17:00.
