Next Tuesday, September 15, there will be a Mexican Night at the Tequila and Mezcal Museum, located right in the heart of Plaza Garibaldi. In addition to a big celebration, a tour of the museum is planned.
On the night of September 15, we commemorate the anniversary of the start of Mexico’s independence; to celebrate, several restaurants and even museums are organizing major events featuring Mexican food and plenty of live music. Of course, the Tequila and Mezcal Museum isn’t about to be left behind. Here’s everything that’s in store.
Here’s what to expect at Mexican Night at the Tequila and Mezcal Museum
The celebration will begin at 7:00 p.m. sharp. The cost per person is $850 and includes a welcome cocktail, a museum tour, a regional buffet, and even a raffle.
As for the music, there will be a live marimba performance, as well as a traditional Mexican dance party. The broadcast of the Cry of Independence will also be featured. You should know that from the museum’s terrace, you’ll be able to watch the fireworks display that takes place in the traditional manner in Mexico City’s Zócalo every September 15.
To register, you must fill out a form and reserve your spot by paying 50% of the admission fee. On the same form, you must select the time slot for your museum tour, which will take place every half hour from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Another venue in Garibaldi hosting Mexican Night is the Salón Tenampa, which will feature a performance by a Juan Gabriel impersonator, a mariachi band, and a performance by Cadetes de Linares. There will also be a buffet. Here’s all the information you need.
