The time has come! If you’re going to go to this sporting event, you’ve come to the right place, because we bring you everything you need to know for your trip, including transportation for the Grand Prix of Mexico.
As you know, this event does not have parking; however, there are several options to get to the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. Even the service of a Metro line will be modified.
In official accounts, it was detailed that Line 9 (which goes from Pantitlán to Tacubaya) will open one hour earlier on Sunday, October 26 (6:00 a.m.). In addition, the number of trains on this line will be increased, remembering that the closest stations to the Autodromo are Ciudad Deportiva, Puebla and Velódromo.
You should take into account that there will be a security and road safety device in Rio Churubusco and Viaducto on all three days. It is recommended to use these as road alternatives:
- Avenida Té
- Presidente Plutarco Elías Calles
- Eje 3 Oriente, avenida Fco. Del Paso y Troncoso
- Ignacio Zaragoza Avenue
- Eje 4 Oriente, Canal Río Churubusco
Will there be special transportation for the Mexican Grand Prix?
Yes! As in previous years, there will be Remote Transportation, i.e. a transportation system that will leave from different points of the CDMX to the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. It will cost $150 for a single trip and $300 for a round trip (they will take you to the event and then back to the starting point). The service will be from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm.
The units will depart from:
- Azteca Stadium (Calzada de Tlalpan and Circuito Azteca).
- Plaza Carso (Presa Falcón 369)
- Auditorio Nacional (shuttle area, next to Campo Marte)
- Expo Santa Fe (270 Santa Fe Avenue)
- Hipódromo de las Américas (311 Conscripto Ave.)
You can pay for transportation using the integrated mobility card. Trucks will arrive at three points of the Autodromo. It is worth mentioning that there will be free transportation at the venue that will take you to the gate you need to enter.
If you go by mobile application transportation, you should know that a drop-off and pick-up zone has been set up at Gate 6 of the Palacio de los Deportes. Here we leave you all the mobility plan for the Grand Prix of Mexico.
