The Tianguis Mezcalero de la CDMXis in a festive mood, as it is about to celebrate its 11th anniversary with a memorable party where, of course, mezcal will reign supreme.
It’s a two-day event, June 20 and 21, at the Squash 73 facility, located at Antonio Caso 147 in the San Rafael neighborhood.
The market’s offerings are incredibly diverse, ensuring a great time from start to finish: for a delicious meal, there will be traditional Mexico City dishes prepared by chef Isra Ortiz, while coffee enthusiasts will enjoy specialty coffee. Of course, there will be plenty of mezcal brands, including notable ones from Oaxaca.
It’s worth noting that the event will feature a cultural program with applied art and the presentation of the book *Sello verde: corredor biológico sur de Jalisco*.
Music and dance will be the heart of the celebration. The afternoons will come alive with live performances: on Saturday, the trio La Vereda will take the stage, while on Sunday, the Camacho Jurado brothers’ Psiqueson will perform.
To end the evenings on a high note and get your body moving, the dance floor will be filled with rhythm courtesy of DJs RaniRécords and SlowolF.
Activities will begin at 12:00 PM and run until 11:00 PM. Admission is $150 per person per day, which includes your collectible mezcal glass, the afternoon concert, the evening DJ set, and unlimited water to stay hydrated.
If you’re looking for a place to drink mezcal in Mexico City, this June’s Tianguis Mezcalero is definitely an option that won’t disappoint.
