Traveling to the moon, touching it with your hands, and being dazzled by its brightness is not something from another universe. You just have to join this workshop in Mexico City where you will create your own moon lamp; the plan that moonstruck souls won’t pass up.
You don’t need to know anything about art or crafts, and you don’t need to stress about getting the materials, because Brindarte takes care of everything. Trust us, making this luminous piece is easier than you think.
Grecia, the creator of this project, will explain step by step how to do it, as well as helping you throughout the process: from installing the light and painting to creating the moon’s reliefs and craters.
Your creativity will flow in conjunction with the relaxed atmosphere of a beautiful terrace, music, and drinks or snacks. It should be noted that the experience includes a complimentary drink (wine, beer, or lemonade), although there is also a menu with different options to snack on while you create. No one here will travel to the moon hungry!
How much does the moon-shaped lamp workshop in Mexico City cost?

The cost depends on the size of your piece; there are two options:
- 40-centimeter moon for $2,950. This piece is reserved individually.
- 60-centimeter moon for $3,450; two people can work on this piece (the cost includes both).
As we mentioned, all materials are included, as well as a drink of your choice.
To reserve your visit, you must pay a 50% deposit. You can also pay in three interest-free monthly installments; however, we recommend asking about this option when you contact @brindartemx.
Who can attend this experience?

During our visit, we saw many people enjoying the workshop: couples, friends, children, and attendees who connected with their own company.
Please note that to reach the terrace you have to climb stairs, which could be difficult for people with limited mobility or disabilities.
This whimsical workshop is held at the Hotel San Fernando located at Iztaccíhuatl 54, Colonia Hipódromo. Please note that prior reservation is required to attend.
The next available workshops are on February 27 and 28, and March 6, 7, 13, 14, and 15, 2026, but there will be more dates available, so we recommend asking about them. You can contact them by clicking here.
