Do you already have plans for this weekend? Get your most comfortable shoes ready and head to the February 2026 museum circuit in downtown Mexico City. You will discover all the secrets of some of the city’s most iconic venues.
The Alameda-Revolución Museum Circuit takes place every month and consists of five routes, each comprising three museums. These are this month’s tours:
- Route 1: Museum of Memory and Tolerance, Bank of Mexico Museum, and Valparaiso Forum
- Route 2: Telegraph Museum, Museum of Popular Art, and Casa Carranza Museum
- Route 3: National Museum of the Revolution, Diego Rivera Mural Museum, Perfume Museum, and Estanquillo Museum
- Route 4: Postal Palace Museum, Kaluz Museum, and Tequila and Mezcal Museum
- Route 5: National Museum of Printmaking, Mexican Museum of Design, and Postal Culture House Museum
Some museums have an entrance fee; however, if you go on this circuit, access is free. Keep in mind that the tour is on foot, so we highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes and clothing, as you will be walking a lot.
The tour covers museums in different neighborhoods of Mexico City; however, most of the places you will visit are in the downtown area.
When is the February 2026 Museum Circuit and how do I register?
This time, the circuit will take place on Saturday, February 28. Registration takes place at the first museum on the route at 10:30 a.m ., while the tour starts at 11:00 a.m.
Space is limited to 30 people per route, so we recommend arriving early to secure a spot. You will be accompanied at all times by staff from the museums you visit, so there is no need to worry about anything.
If you can’t go this weekend, don’t worry because these tours are held every month. You’ll have several more opportunities to attend.
