Museum Night in August 2026 has arrived in Mexico City!
This Wednesday, August 26, several cultural venues will stay open late, as they have special programming that those of us who love art, music, and nightlife will appreciate.
Make your plans as soon as possible and decide what your next excuse will be to stay up just a little later than usual!
Don’t miss the tribute to Juan Gabriel at MUPE!
To mark the tenth anniversary of the Divo’s passing, this museum will host a special tribute to remember the idol.
The program doesn’t stop there—it also includes a workshop and an olfactory tasting. Remember that each of these activities has a different cost, although the tribute to Juanga is already included in the admission price.

As part of the August 2026 Museum Night lineup, the Palacio Postal is joining in with a tribute concert to Juan Gabriel and José José, performed by the group Morfeo. Seating is limited, so it’s best to arrive early.
The Franz Mayer Museum is dedicating an evening to internet culture to celebrate the fifth anniversary of its digital meme program and the current exhibition on Albrecht Dürer. The event combines self-guided tours of the museum’s galleries with a meme-making workshop and a dance floor featuring choreography from the 2000s.
To make the most of the theme, you can go as a couple wearing matching costumes based on your favorite meme; if you buy tickets online and show the reference image upon arrival, you’ll get a 2-for-1 deal. Keep in mind that the museum doesn’t allow large bags or backpacks, so it’s best to travel light.
SimiCasa Museum
Wrestling takes over SimiCasa! Experience the energy of the Simi Arena, get a temporary tattoo, sign the mural, and enjoy guided tours. The dress code is your favorite mask or cape; maximum capacity is 350 people per hour.
Palace of Autonomy
This iconic venue will offer a tango class and exhibition that you can enjoy in person. Keep in mind that capacity is limited to 150 people, so we suggest you arrive on time.
FARO Azcapotzalco Xochicalli
Get ready to groove to the best retro vibes! Join this ’80s nostalgia party at High Energy Night and the Disco Party, featuring guest DJs and a ballet show. Space is limited to 70 people—don’t miss out!
Legislative Museum “Sentiments of the Nation”
Enjoy great music with a live performance by the jazz-fusion band “OMNIBLUES.” You can enjoy this fantastic concert in person or virtually. Remember to check in using a QR code; capacity is limited to 80 people.
Tequila and Mezcal Museum
Did someone break your heart? Have a little tequila and sing to the memory!
The event will feature a talk on maguey culture, a dreamcatcher workshop, and a tasting. This package costs $100 and is limited to 50 people.
You can also attend the Despechadxs show, featuring singers Daniela Navarro and Yahel Hernández. Tickets are $20, and space is limited to 90 people.

Pulque Museum and Pulquerías
The energy of The Beatles returns for an unmissable evening! Sing along to the hits of the Fab Four at this tribute concert by Soundscape Revival. The event is limited to 100 people, so don’t forget to pre-register on the museum’s social media.
This immersive space is joining August’s Museum Night with an experience of reflection and peace called Tikún. All set against the magical atmosphere of the digital art exhibition created by artist Pepe Soho.
