March’s Museum Night is about to begin!
Like every last Wednesday of the month, Mexico City will stay up late, as it will come alive with an evening full of music, art, and culture.
March 25 will beno exception, and various venues across our city will join in with a super-special program ranging from live concerts to workshops and guided tours. Take note and make your plans as soon as possible.

Dance to cumbia at the historic Palacio Postal! If you’re looking for a musical event for Museum Night in March 2026, the Palacio Postal in the Historic Center will host a cumbia concert by The Wichos. The event is free and will begin on Wednesday, March 25, at 6:00 p.m., with limited seating.

Free admission but limited to 280 people: arrive early! As part of the March Museum Night activities in Mexico City, the Yancuic Museum presents a tribute concert performed by the band Morfeo, featuring iconic songs by Juan Gabriel and José José. Admission is free and capacity is limited to 280 people.

The Franz Mayer Museum is launching a program dedicated to “more is more” with workshops on embossing, jersey customization, and Chicano-style drawing. The schedule includes guided tours of the exhibitions ¡Moda hoy! and Pierre et Gilles, as well as a specialized look at the historical clothing from the Ruth D. Lechuga collection.
The main event is a contemporary Mexican design fashion show in the Cloister, presented by Colectiva en pro de la moda and hosted by Johnny Carmona. The night wraps up with live sets by DJs Baal Moon and Barrio Bravo, encouraging attendees to wear their best urban folklore and avant-garde outfits.
Luis Enrique Erro Planetarium

The list wouldn’t be complete without the Luis Enrique Erro Planetarium, which will offer a wide range of activities, including nighttime stargazing through telescopes, tours of the Astronomy Hall, a talk titled “Ancient Astronomical Instruments,” and free screenings in the immersive dome.

Casa Jaime Sabines

Visit the Casa de Jaime Sabines to tour the exhibition paying tribute to Elena Poniatowska, as well as a talk titled “The Worker Says ‘Vino Fidel’: Jaime Sabines, Cuba, and Latin American Conversational Poetry.” There will also be a workshop titled “Frutos: A Garden of Literary Care.”

Chocolate Museum, MUCHO

This venue will pay tribute to Mexico’s native bees through photographic works by Francisco Cubas.
In addition, there will be a saxophone concert by Musax, a metate chocolate workshop, chocolate tasting, as well as guided tours of the museum.
Please note that activities have different costs ranging from $250 to $300 per person; to reserve your spot, email educacion@mucho.org.mx. Remember that general admission is $85.
Xavier Villarrutia Cultural Center

If you like drag shows, don’t miss this one, which will explore trans identity through performance and drama. Keep in mind that capacity is limited to 50 people, so we recommend arriving early.
Simi Casa

Dr. Simi’s House will offer a special program called “Simi Bloom,” featuring workshops on making seed bombs, guided tours, and meditation sessions. One of the most anticipated events is the “Silent Party,” where you can dance with wireless headphones and choose your favorite beat from cumbia, reggaeton, or electronic music.
Keep in mind that the dress code is hippie boho, so get your colorful, floral, tie-dye, or crocheted clothes ready.
Natural History Museum

From the blues to the constellations! During March’s Museum Night, this venue will offer a program to discover what’s happening in the sky during spring.
There will be workshops, talks, and a blues concert in the venue’s vaults. Please note that capacity is limited to 300 people. Please note that general admission costs $39.
Tequila and Mezcal Museum

If you love mariachi, visiting this place on Museum Night will be your top choice! You’ll be able to enjoy a musical performance by Nicole Moreno, as well as Mariachi Amazonas, who will showcase the female mariachi scene in Mexico.
Please note that space is limited to 70 people, so you need to register your attendance by scanning this QR code. Your admission includes a complimentary drink.

Artist Pepe Soho has created a sensory experience divided into eight immersive rooms designed to foster a deep connection with nature and one’s inner self. The tour uses infinite mirror technology and large-format projections to transport visitors to the Lacandon Jungle, monarch butterfly sanctuaries, and dreamlike spaces that explore the spiritual power of horses.
During March’s Museum Night, there will be a special session where you can enjoy the space with music by artist Daniel Torres. It’s not to be missed!
