The good news is that these tours will take place on weekends, so don’t worry about work or school. Admission is free, but space is limited, so we recommend arriving early. Wear comfortable shoes because you’ll be walking for a while.
The tour will take place on Sundays, July 5 and 12, at two different times: 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. The meeting point is the Chapultepec Forest Botanical Garden. So not only will you learn more about mushrooms, but you’ll also enjoy one of the most iconic spots in this Mexico City forest.
Although mushrooms are present year-round, the truth is that between June and November they’re easier to find due to the rains, according to information from UNAM Global.
