MUTEK MX is only a few days away from its 20th anniversary and they are planning to celebrate it in style! The MUTEK dates will be from October 7 to 20, where CDMX will become the epicenter of avant-garde digital art.
If you don’t want to miss this anniversary edition, get your tickets to go to both A/Visions and TWO days of Nocturne. Aha, just as you read it: Nocturne will now be a two-day event.
The program of the week MUTEK MX 2024: XX Anniversary
To participate in all the events you can get a passport with access to A/Visions 1 and 2 and the two days of Nocturne 360, but we recommend you to buy them as soon as possible so you don’t get the last stages. Or, you can also buy individual tickets for the events you want.
A/Visions 1+
For the first time, A/Visions 1+ comes to InSpace, a space dedicated 100% to digital art. Now A/Visions 1 will be a full 360 experience to live the installations of Ali Phi (CA), Claire Kenway & Patrick Trudeau (CA/QC), CNDSD & Ivan Abreu (MX/CU), Heleen Blanken (NL) and Lucas Gutierrez (AR).
It’s a fabulous experience and one that you can bring your friends who have never been to a MUTEK event. Plus, you can stay as long as you want so you don’t miss a single detail of all the installations.

A/Visions 2
MUTEK returns to the Museo Anahuacalli to bring together pre-Hispanic traditions and Mexican art with innovation and the future of digital art. The artists confirmed so far are: Suzanne Ciani (US), David August (IT) and Bendik Giske & Diego Vega Solorza (NO/MX).

Nocturne 360
More than 50 national and international artists will come together to celebrate MUTEK’s most intense event. During Friday and Saturday you will see performances, installations, immersive experiences and audiovisual collaborations with all kinds of disciplines presenting the most avant-garde and innovative. Expect the Unexpected at MUTEK MX 2024
For the past two years, this festival has been warming up engines for the XX edition by bringing great artists who are spearheading digital innovation. However, they promise that this year everything will be different…and now we can find out what they have planned for this anniversary!
And how not to celebrate the largest festival in Latin America in terms of digital creativity, technology and constant inspiration for audiovisual art, electronic music and everything that involves multimedia experimentation.
The organizers say they are committed to continue promoting and providing a unique platform for national and international artists as well as new talents.
20th Anniversary
In April they presented, together with the Secretaría de Cultura de la CDMX, a collaborative performance between Soundwalk Collective and Patti Smith. Correspondences was a fabulous experience that combined experimentation with poetry, multimedia and sound art. And this was just the beginning for everything to come in the MUTEK MX weeks, so get your tickets!
For 20 years, MUTEK in Mexico has been the key platform for developing a community of creative and diverse people where the exchange of ideas has resulted in a fabulous experience. MUTEK has positioned itself as the festival that puts art, music, technology and creativity in constant dialogue.
In all its main events: the A/Visions and Nocturne you can find great artistic experiences, all unique but equally amazing. But best of all, MUTEK week takes over the whole city, with various restaurants and establishments joining in with their own inventive proposals.
