Finally, the Nacional Monte de Piedad has confirmed its reopening for next Wednesday, October 7, 2026!
After a long period of strikes and suspended operations, the institution confirmed its return via social media. It also announced that it will offer 45 days interest-free to allow people to settle their pawn loans, as well as interest discounts based on the customer’s credit history.
Hours of operation will be Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
How do I schedule an appointment at the Nacional Monte de Piedad?
It is very important to arrive with a prior appointment, which you can book at montepiedad.com.mx/cita-sucursal.
The process is easy: just enter your name and cell phone number, select the branch and time slot, and you’ll receive your confirmation number. Remember that the appointment is non-transferable, and you must bring your INE and confirmation number to be served at the branch.

- If your original due date was September 30, October 1, 2, 3, or 5, 2026, your new payment deadline is March 16, 2027, and the new sale date is March 17, 2027.
- If your original due date was October 6, 2026, your new payment deadline is March 17, 2027, and the new sale date is March 18, 2027.
