Are you all ready to discover the secrets of the universe? The Night of the Stars 2024 is coming ! This is an event focused on astronomy where you will be able to see the sky through telescopes, participate in workshops and more. There will even be a keynote lecture with an astronaut.
This year the Night of the Stars will have more than 90 venues across the country. Regarding Mexico City, you will find activities in:
- Islas de Ciudad Universitaria (15:00 to 22:00 hours).
- Luis Enrique Erro Planetarium ( 15:00 to 22:00 hours)
- UACM San Lorenzo Tezonco ( 12:00 to 22:00 hours)
- Museum of Natural History and Environmental Culture ( 18:00 to 22:00 hours)
- Bosque de Tláhuac ( 16:30 to 21:00 hours)
- Tezozómoc Museum (15:00 to 22:00 hours)
Admission to the event is free.
What will be in the Night of the Stars 2024 in CDMX?
The first thing to mention is that this 2024 event seeks to commemorate the 90th anniversary of Marie Curie’s death.
As detailed through its official website, there will be different activities, such as telescope observation, musical presentations, theater, storytelling, planetariums and more.
Among the activities not to be missed is the master conference with astronaut José Hernández, which will be held at the Islas de Ciudad Universitaria at 7:30 pm.
In the case of the Tezozómoc Museum you will find workshops, conferences, games and more. While at the Luis Enrique Erro Planetarium the program includes screenings, tours and workshops. As you can see, in each venue there will be activities not to be missed.
