This art exhibition combined with a house of laughter is now open at Lienzo Charro de Constituyentes (Av Constituyentes 500, Panteón Civíl de Dolores), and Tim Burton himself came to Mexico City to inaugurate it. Check out what he told us:
A must-see for all fans of Tim Burton’s films, this exhibition is unlike any other: as its name suggests, it’s a maze, and every tour is different! From the entrance, you’ll have to choose doors that will take you to secret rooms where you’ll learn more about the creative process of this iconic filmmaker. What to expect from Tim Burton’s Labyrinth?
During this exciting tour, you will discover the creative universe of Tim Burton in all its facets: director, producer, writer, and illustrator. Delve into his labyrinthine mind and discover his fears, his inspirations, and where his unique style comes from.
Each visitor will create their own experience, visiting rooms decorated with lights, video mapping, music, sets, and costumes from the films. There are more than 300 possible combinations of tours, so no matter how many times you go, you will always see different rooms!

You’ll see more than 200 original drawings—some unpublished and others animated exclusively for the experience—rooms dedicated to the films, and spaces with intimate details about Burton’s boundless imagination.
In addition, there are large-scale sculptures of his characters such as Jack, Sweeney Todd, the Mad Hatter, and even the Oompa Loompas.
