Between October 16 and 22, iconic cars will travel through several states across the country. The 2026 Carrera Panamericana will begin in Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas. It will then visit states such as Veracruz, Mexico City, Puebla, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, and Guanajuato.
The race will conclude on Thursday, October 22, in Zacatecas. According to a press release, this race is recognized as “the most important and longest rally-style road race in the world.”
When will the 2026 Carrera Panamericana arrive in Mexico City?
According to the map published on its official website, the cars will travel from Veracruz to Mexico City on October 17; while on October 18, they will continue their journey from Mexico City to Puebla. It will be that weekend when we see them in the capital.
This race has been held since 1988 and is known for its incredible classic and sports cars. The route they will follow in Mexico City has not yet been announced; however, in previous years it has passed through iconic locations such as the area around the Palacio de Bellas Artes.
It’s worth mentioning that the 2026 Monumental Alebrijes Parade will take place that same weekend. It’s going to be a busy few days in Mexico City, so start planning your schedule.
