There are more and more options where you can eat with your pet. We leave you with a list of our favorites so you can spend a morning or afternoon without having to leave your furry friend at home.
1. Pinche Gringo BBQ
When it comes to bbq ribs, there’s no going back to the origins. Pinche Gringo’s kitchen displays the aromas of the best brisket and pulled pork in town. In the middle of a casual atmosphere, you can taste their specialties accompanied by mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, beans or coleslaw. Enjoy a pleasant time while you finish your beer and your canine companion relaxes.

2. Eno
A cozy place with great service that will leave you and your kennel more than satisfied. Their menu consists of simple dishes with local and organic ingredients prepared with great attention to detail and that could be categorized as Mexican “comfort food”, such as their bean and lentil soup and chicken milanesa torta. They have vegan options and their bread… is a delight! You can’t leave without trying it. Be sure to ask for a terrace for both of you to enjoy the evening.

3. Milo’s
A Mediterranean bistro with a very nice terrace in La Condesa, where you can eat very comfortably with your dog by your side. The menu has a very homey flavor that warms the heart. We recommend starting with a beef carpaccio and onion soup. Continue with the mushroom risotto or the beef fillet with hibiscus sauce. To accompany your meal you will find a great selection of domestic and imported wines, although the house wine is phenomenal (it is made in the Guadalupe Valley).
Where: Amsterdam and Celaya, Condesa
4. Butchers and Sons
a ride and burgers? Of course! At least that’s what we think your dog would say if you proposed this plan. And the best place to make it happen is this burger shop, where besides eating deli, you will spend a nice time in any of its terraces. We recommend starting with their bacon-wrapped fries and grilled asparagus, followed by one of their burgers (the Hendrix is our favorite), all accompanied by a beer.

5. La Sabina
This restaurant is located in a large house in La Santa María la Ribera and besides being very spacious, its terrace allows you to enjoy the garden and the architecture of the place. Its menu is very varied, starting with its cocktails, refreshing and innovative. Although their food focuses on Mexican dishes, such as their ceviche de cecina and chicharrón gorditas or their cochinita torta (sublime), they have a pizza oven that does not disappoint. You’ll have a great afternoon and so will your pet.

6. Le Pettit Lola
A little corner of San Angel that is characterized by its love of food, its diners and dogs. Their terrace is small and cozy, so you may have to wait a bit for your table, but we promise it’s worth it. Everything here is delicious: from the bread to the mayonnaise (both homemade). Its gastronomic proposal is comfort food with inspiration from Mexico and Italy. That is why their menu is dominated by lasagnas and cakes, prepared with extreme care and exceptional flavor. A plus? Bread, sauces and lasagna are available to take away.
Where: Amargura 14, San Angel
7. Toscano Coffee
Don’t let the name fool you. Here you will find unpretentious Italian food with lots of flavor. Whether in the morning or in the afternoon, its menu does not disappoint, it is varied, consistent and has vegan options. We recommend ordering the artichoke with herbs and the prosciutto and arugula pizza. It should be noted that canine companions are welcome at any of its four branches.

8. North Desert
In the middle of the forest you will find this family grill that not only allows contact with nature, but also lets you enjoy a meal in the company of your pet. Although the menu is small, which in a way is appreciated: you don’t have to think too much and you can relax knowing that you will eat delicious, as everything is prepared with organic and fresh ingredients (nothing is frozen). Order the Hamburger del Bosque and for dessert a loaf of bread with almond and maple cream. To accompany your meal you can choose from a variety of craft beers, mezcals and wines. We guarantee you an afternoon of absolute relaxation.
