This Mexico City forest has prepared “A summer for everyone”, a series of special activities for these vacations. There will be music, motorized acrobatics exhibition, sonidero dance and even danzón.
The activities will only take place this Saturday, August 9; however, the play will have another date. We bring you the complete program.
When can I see the play La Llorona at Bosque de Aragón?
La Llorona is one of the most famous legends in Mexico. Although there are several versions, the best known tells of the spirit of a woman who wanders looking for her children.
This play will interpret this famous legend. There will be two performances: Saturday, August 9 and 16. It will start at 7:00 p.m. and will take place at the lake walkway, at access 8 of the San Juan de Aragon Forest.
Admission is free. Just make sure you arrive early to get a good seat and enjoy the show to the fullest. Remember that this is the rainy season and it tends to rain mainly in the afternoons. Don’t forget to bring your raincoat.
As for the rest of the activities, everything will start at 11:00 a.m. with the Sonidero dance. Musas Sonideras and Club del montón will participate at the Palapa del Balneario. In addition, at 12:00 there will be an exhibition of motoacrobatics. Here is the complete program.
