Japan Month is here! This is an event that will have several activities in Mexico City and other states of the country, such as a presentation with Japanese drums at the National Museum of World Cultures. Admission is free.
Japan Month is celebrated in June. This 2025 the inauguration will be on Tuesday, June 3, starting at 5:00 pm. During the event there will be music and even a symposium where you will learn more about the Tokyo National Museum.

Take note so you don’t miss it. The Japanese drum performance Ome Taiko, with Nahoko Kobayashi and David Méndez, will start at 5:25 p.m. on Tuesday, June 3. During the performance you will enjoy traditional music from Japan, and not only that!
At 6:00 p.m. there will be a symposium led by specialists from the Tokyo National Museum, in which they will talk about the beauties of Japan, as well as the history of this cultural precinct.
Admission is free, but it is important to arrive early because space will be limited to 100 people. The appointment is at the National Museum of World Cultures (Moneda 13, Historic Center of Mexico City). Save the date and get to know more about Japan with specialists.
