Tell your dance partner! Next Wednesday, May 28, we will have a Pride and Prejudice themed dance at the Franz Mayer. But beware: that’s just one of the many activities that will take place.
Franz Night is coming! This month’s edition will be called Baile Para Todos and will consist of several dance sessions, including salsa, danzón and more. Run for your tickets.
All about the Pride and Prejudice-style dance night at the Franz Mayer
One of the event’s activities is inspired by Pride and Prejudice, where you’ll dance with your partner to the rhythm of a waltz. It will take place in the library of the Franz Mayer Museum from 6:30 to 7:00 pm.
It is worth mentioning that children will also be invited to the Franz Night, since from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. there will be a baby ballet session in the museum’s auditorium.
If danzón is your thing, you should go to the Cloister of the Museum where you will learn the basic steps of this dance. Meanwhile, in the auditorium there will be a voguing dance session from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. And that’s not all! At the same time, but in the cloister of the museum, there will be a salsa session.
To end the event on a high note, the Musas Sonideras will be performing from 8:30 to 10:00 p.m. to get everyone dancing in the Museum’s Cloister. It is important to know that all dance sessions require prior registration. You can get your tickets here.
