Summer is coming, and all we can think about is slathering on sunscreen and taking a dip! To help you plan your next vacation, Profeco released a list of water parks, which feature water slides, children’s play areas, and games, as well as food courts.
The list focuses on states near Mexico City, such as the State of Mexico, Puebla, Morelos, Querétaro, and Hidalgo, as well as some that are a little farther away, such as Jalisco, Guerrero, and Coahuila. In any case, we’ve listed them all here so you can compare prices and plan the best route.
State of Mexico

- Ojo de Agua Water Park: Experience its avalanche slide, wave river, and water-powered slides. Adults pay $300 and children under 1.30 meters pay $200.
Puebla
- Agua Azul Spa: Relax in its pools and steam rooms, or use the barbecue grills and sports courts. Admission for adults is $150; for children and INAPAM members, $130.
Querétaro
- Querétaro Bicentennial Park: Enjoy its lazy river, wading pool, and senior pool. Adult admission: $80 (children under 1 m tall, as well as people with disabilities, enter for free).
- Termas del Rey Water Park: It has a wave pool, a maze, a diving pit, and a VIP area. Buy tickets online at a discount: adults $169 and children under 1.20 meters pay $106.
Jalisco
- Chimulco Water Park: Have fun on its water slides, Lazy River, and foam party. Adults pay $220, children ages 3 to 10 pay $120, and INAPAM members pay $140.

- Splash Water Park in León: Enjoy its wave pool, aquarium, and water slides. An adult ticket costs $280 and a child’s ticket costs $150.
Guerrero
- Agua Salvaje Water Park: Here you’ll find pools, water slides, and a flight simulator. Admission: adults $200, children $150, and INAPAM members $100.
