You can’t deny it: the weekend isn’t complete without some good barbecue tacos, right? That’s why the 2026 Pulque and Barbecue Fair will be coming to Mexico City in mid-March . It will last three days and will take place right on the second long weekend of the year, so you’ll have plenty of time to attend.
This fair is already a tradition in the Magdalena Contreras district, which organizes this event at least twice a year. Start organizing your schedule because there’s not much time left before the next edition.
When is the next Pulque and Barbacoa Fair 2026 in Mexico City?
Through official accounts, the mayor’s office announced that the 2026 edition of this event will take place on March 13, 14, and 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Throughout the weekend, you’ll be able to try all kinds of dishes made with barbacoa. There will not only be taquitos and consomé, but other surprises as well.
As for drinks, pulque will be sold, which is ideal to accompany your taquitos or any other dish. All food and drinks will have different prices. There will also be live music.
As in previous editions, the fair will be held on the esplanade of the Magdalena Contreras City Hall, located at Av. Álvaro Obregón 20, Barranca Seca. Take advantage of the long weekend to take a trip and indulge your palate with typical local dishes. They will even sell bread, traditional sweets, and handicrafts.
